David Sinclair was born in Perth, Western Australia and now calls Melbourne home. He has travelled to all seven continents and over fifty countries in search of
images, powder and adventure. David divides his time between guiding in polar regions, freelance photography, practising law and dreaming up new adventures.
David has a passion for mountains, snow and ice. He completed a traverse of the Greenland icecap in 2005 and returned to Greenland in 2007 to ski tour and climb in
the Watkins Range which contains the two highest peaks north of the Arctic Circle.
Over the past three summers David has travelled to Antarctica on board the Akademik Ioffe, Akaemik Sergey Vavilov, Cliper Adventurer and MV Orion as a zodiac
driver, photographer, lecturer, and naturalist. David has travelled with Quark Expeditions, Peregrine Adventures and Orion Expedition Cruises to the Falkland Islands,
South Georgia, Antarctic Peninsula, Weddell Sea, South Shetland Islands, Adelie Land (including Mawson's Huts), the Ross Sea (including Shackleton's and Scott's
Huts), Macquarie Island, Campbell Island and the Auckland and Snares Islands. Contact David if you have any questions about travelling to the polar regions.
